Each tent is oriented to capture the Brandberg Mountain views and the prevailing breeze. Fall asleep under the canvas knowing that somewhere in the dry riverbed, the elephants are passing through.

Guided Safari Tours
& Nature Walks
Our local guides have tracked these elephants their whole lives. They know the dry riverbeds the herds follow, the plants they browse, and the signs that tell you how recently they passed. A safari here is not a drive in a vehicle looking for wildlife at a distance — it is an immersion.
Nature walks cover the Sorris-Sorris landscape, with attention to the smaller stories: ancient San rock engravings, desert-adapted plants, the birds of the Brandberg foothills.

Night Sky
Star Gazing
There is almost no light pollution in Sorris-Sorris. On a clear night — which is most nights — the Milky Way arcs across the sky in its full, overwhelming breadth. The Southern Cross hangs low on the horizon. Satellites trace clean lines through constellations you have known only as faint smudges from the city.
No telescope required. Just step outside your tent, let your eyes adjust, and look up. Our guides are happy to introduce you to the southern night sky.
